The Dirty Hippy is a sparsely tied baitfish imitation that has enough flash to turn some heads. We find this pattern works especially well in the fall when the brown trout are looking for a big meal. Tied with marabou that allows the fly to “breathe” while it is in the water, pull this bad boy through the water slowly and patiently.
