You don't have be fluent in French to fish this fly. The Frenchie has ascended to the elite level of point flies, and rightfully so. This simplified pheasant tail gets down fast, and has the profile of all great baetis patterns - slim and tapered. Throw a hot spot on the collar on the fish can't say no.
